	About Linzi Alford
	Linzi Alford lives in a small village in the south of the English Lake District. She has been making jewellery all her life, initially for family and friends, then branching out onto on-line retail sites and into commissions. Linzi draws a significant amount of her inspiration from her photography of the Lake District landscape, it's fells, water, industrial architecture and has an eye for noticing the colours, shapes and the small details of everyday life. Her jewellery reflects this and, since she is the mother of three children, also has the practicality for everyday wear. Linzi is a long time member of the Self Representing Artists in Jewellery Design group, a qualified silversmith and likes to work with pearls, silver, dichroic glass, brass, copper and recycled materials making highly individual one off pieces. Linzi also sells some of her works on both the Etsy and Ebay online sales sites under the username of Missswish.
